18 STUDENTS OF SCHOOL OF EMINENCE LEFT FOR SRIHARIKOTA

Chandigarh: 18 students of  School of Eminence started by the Punjab government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, today left for Sriharikota to be part of launch of PSLV-C56.

Giving information in this regard, School Education minister Punjab Mr. Harjot Singh Bains said that these students took  flight from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar to witness the launch of PSLV-C56 in shriharikota.

The Minister of School Education said that all the expenses incurred by these students in this regard are being borne by the Punjab government.

He said that the aim of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is to raise interest in the  subject of science in the minds of the students studying in the government schools of the state so that with new discoveries students can brighten  Punjab’s name.

It is worth mentioning here that 30 students went to Sriharikota under the leadership of School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains during the launch of Chandrayaan 3 in the previous days.
