18-year-old Student Stabbed in Montreal, Investigation Underway

An 18-year-old student was stabbed during a fight at an adult education centre in North Montreal. He was taken to the hospital and as per the police, his life is not in danger. The suspect, who escaped after the incident, is still on the run.

The incident took place at around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of St-Vital Boulevard near Prieur Street in the Montreal North borough. A fight broke out at an adult education centre and an 18-year-old student was stabbed in his upper body. He was rushed to a hospital and according to the police, he is not in danger anymore. Nobody else was injured in the altercation.

The police spokesperson also shared that the suspect fled the scene on foot and that the police is looking for him. No arrests have been made yet and the police will start talking to witnesses. Investigators, crime scene technicians, and a canine unit are expected to be present at the scene.

The stabbing took place at École Amos, which helps students between the ages of 16 and 20 who are having academic difficulties.
