Toronto City Clerk has set a mayoral by-election for June 26, Monday.
Toronto City Clerk has set a mayoral by-election for June 26, Monday. As per City Clerk, John D. Elvidge, the nominations for the by-elections will be open on Monday, April 3rd at 8:30 a.m, and will be closed on Friday, May 12 at 2 p.m.
Advance voting will take place from Thursday, June 8 to Tuesday, June 13.
The announcement comes after the resignation of the former mayor, John Tory after admitting to a relationship with the staffer.
