Brampton Mourns the Sudden Death of Ravjot Chhatwal; Flags Lowered at Cityhall
The City has decided to keep the flags lowered until sunset on Friday to honour Chhatwal's memory.
The Brampton City Hall flags were lowered to half-mast due to the passing of BFES Division Chief Ravjot Chhatwal. Chhatwal was a cherished member of the Brampton Fire and Emergency Services team, and the Head of the Fire Life Safety Education division.
Colleagues, friends, and community members are mourning his loss and sharing memories of him. PRP Chief Nishan Duraiappah and Chief Peter Dundas of PRPS expressed their condolences on behalf of Peel Regional Police and Peel Regional Paramedic Service.
