Punjab government will bear the cost cut for the shriveled and broken grains of wheat

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday announced a huge relief for farmers affected by unseasonal rains in the state.  Taking to Twitter, Mann announces that Punjab government will bear the cost cut for the shriveled and broken grains of wheat.

Mann said that due to the moisture in the grain of wheat and the grain being small, the cost of the cut in the price of wheat by the central government will be borne by the Punjab government from its side.   “Farmers will not be allowed to face any kind of problem…we are standing together in every difficult time,” he tweeted.
