Two schools in west Mississauga were placed in partial lock down on April 25 after a report of a person with weapons at a nearby plaza.
Peel Regional Police received the call just after noon, prompting the hold-and-secure mode at Erindale Secondary School and Saint-Jean Baptiste Catholic Elementary School. Police have not located any suspects yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
The schools remain closed to visitors, but students can still move between classes. Erindale Secondary School is located at the corner of Erin Mills Parkway and Dundas Street W, while Saint-Jean Baptiste Catholic Elementary School is situated on Broad Hollow Gate, just northeast of the high school.
