Punjab Police Launches Operation ‘OPS Clean’, Recovers Drugs, Money, Weapons, and More
Punjab Police has launched a state-wide operation called ‘OPS Clean’ to monitor activities of persons involved in drug smuggling. As part of the operation, several houses/ places associated with the drug smugglers were raided simultaneously varying quantities of drugs and money.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s campaign to make Punjab a drug-free state seems to be in full force as another state-wide operation has been launched. Dubbed ‘OPS Clean’, the operation involves monitoring the activities of persons involved in smuggling commercial quantities of drugs. As many as 650 police teams with over 5,500 police personnel raided 2,247 locations in Punjab and conducted searches at 2,125 houses of persons having involvement in drug smuggling cases.
