Universities are invited by UGC to offer online courses

The commission announced in a statement that the online application gateway will be available from October 10 and October 31.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) is accepting new applications for recognition for the academic year 2023–2024, which will see the start of courses in February 2024, in an effort to encourage more higher education institutions (HEIs) to offer programmes in online, open, or remote learning modalities.

The commission announced in a statement that the online application gateway will be available from October 10 and October 31. The deadline for offline applications is November 15.
