Iran attacks terror bases in Pakistan’s Balochistan
Islamabad: Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar had met Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, just before Iran fired missiles at Balochistan.
According to The Express Tribune newspaper, the Iranian president’s point man for Afghanistan was also in Islamabad recently.
Pakistan on Wednesday warned Iran of “serious consequences” after Tehran launched an unprecedented missile and drone strikes on terrorist bases of a Sunni militant group in the restive Balochistan province, which killed two children and injured three others.
