Two Teens And One 11 Year Old Girl Arrested After Stabbing During Brampton Carjacking
It is alleged that on February 22, 2024, four suspects lured the victim through social media to a high school parking lot near Kennedy Road and Queen Street in Brampton.
Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau have charged two young persons in connection with an armed carjacking incident in Brampton, which resulted in one person sustaining stab wounds.
It is alleged that on February 22, 2024, four suspects lured the victim through social media to a high school parking lot near Kennedy Road and Queen Street in Brampton. Once the victim exited his vehicle, the suspects emerged from the back of the lot and accosted him. They produced a knife and demanded his keys and vehicle. The victim was struck in the head and stabbed in the leg. The suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle. The victim was treated in hospital. Fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening.
After an extensive investigation, investigators located and arrested three young persons, including an 11-year-old female who was released due to her age. Police have issued a warrant for a fourth young person and are making ongoing efforts to locate him. The victim’s vehicle has been recovered.
A 13-year-old female from Mississauga has been charged with Robbery and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
A 16-year-old male from Brampton has been charged with Robbery, Wearing a Disguise with Intent, and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
