1 Dead, Another in Hospital Following Shooting in Vaughan

An early morning shooting has left one person dead and another injured in Vaughan. York Regional Police Service (YRPS) found the two victims with gunshot wounds when they arrived, but one was pronounced dead at the scene. The police has asked anyone with information to come forward.

YRPS’s homicide unit is investigating a shooting at an industrial site in Vaughan early in the morning. The incident took place inside a unit at a plaza at 400 Creditstone Rd., north of Highway 7 West and east of Jane Street. YRPS officers were called to the location at 3:50 a.m. They found two men with gunshot wounds and one of them was without vital signs, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police believed that there were many other people in the area at the time of the incident and is requesting any witnesses to come forward. As of now, there is no information on the suspect or suspects.
