20-Year-Old Khushneet Kaur of Brampton Commits Suicide Due to Depression

A 20-year-old girl, named Khushneet Kaur committed suicide on Tuesday. Khushneet was an international student and a resident of Brampton, Ontario. She belonged to Uttar Pradesh, India.

Reportedly, she came to Canada as a student just a month ago, and was a victim of depression. Instead of trying to talk to someone, she chose to embrace death. It is worth mentioning that deaths on international students are making headlines every other day. The students are struggling with the growing costs of grocery, rents, and living.

The community members have several time raised the concerns however, it is discerning to witness that no action or initiative is being taken, specifically for the international students, by the college authorities or the elected MPs.
