6.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Afghanistan, Tremors felt in Northern India

The Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan was the epicentre of the earthquake, according to reports.

Tuesday night at 10:22 pm, earthquakes were detected in Delhi-NCR. On the Richter scale, it was assessed to be 6.6 in magnitude. The Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan was the epicentre of the earthquake, according to reports.

Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan all experienced tremors.

Afghanistan’s Kalafgan is thought to be 90 kilometres from the epicentre. The 6.6-magnitude earthquake reportedly struck Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan, among other nations.
