Air India releases a first look at its new logo and design for its aircraft. New Delhi : The updated logo reimagines the airline’s classic Maharaja mascot with a contemporary twist Major airline Air India posted the first image of one of its planes sporting the new livery and logo on Sunday. Air India released images of the aircraft to X (previously Twitter) with the caption, “Here’s the first look of the majestic A350 in our new livery at the paint facility in Toulouse. This winter, we start bringing home our A350s. In August, Air India underwent a rebranding process and debuted a new logo and colour palette. The new logo gives the airline’s traditional Maharaja mascot a modern makeover. It has a more streamlined, styled appearance with a new colour scheme that includes hues of red, white, and purple. Despite using a fresh and unusual font, the colour palette keeps the recognisable red writing connected to Air India. The updated design also has a large red patch that stands out against the white letters “Air India” on the underbelly of the aircraft.
