CM LAUNCHES THE SECOND EDITION OF FUTURE TYCOON 2 START UP CHALLENGE PROGRAM
Patiala: In order to boost entrepreneurial spirit amongst the students of the district, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday launched the second edition of Future Tycoon 2 Start Up Challenge program.

Hailing the unique initiative of the district administration after launching the program here on the sidelines of the state level function to mark Independence Day, the Chief Minister said that this step will go a long way in providing an opportunity to people to realize their dreams of being an entrepreneur. He said that under this program the applicants who are working on any idea of a startup can apply online through the portal https://tinyurl.com/4w3ae3kb for their registration. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that registration can be done for four categories viz. Students/ Young entrepreneurs, Female Entrepreneurs, PWD Entrepreneurs and open Category entrepreneurs.

The Chief Minister said that the applicants who will be winning this challenge will get financial assistance worth Rs 50,000 in every category along with other help from the state government and district administration. He said that the applicants can seek the help of the District Bureau of Employment and Entrepreneurship, Patiala for the process of registration. Bhagwant Singh Mann envisioned that this ambitious scheme will be helpful in boosting economic activity in the region by providing a platform to budding entrepreneurs.

Pertinently, the first edition of this Future Tycoon Start Up Challenge program had taken place in 2022 during which it had got massive response. Around 418 people had participated in this ambitious endeavor of the district administration last year and shared their ideas regarding business and trade. The district administration has announced four winners from all the four categories who were given monetary assistance along with other vital support from the state government and district administration.
