Driver suffers injuries after crashing stolen vehicle in Mississauga

A single vehicle collision occurred on Wednesday at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Derry Road in Mississauga, the Peel Regional Police said.

The incident, which took place around 12.50 p.m., included a stolen vehicle being driven by an adult male. According to police, the man drove the vehicle into a tree.

Police did not reveal the state of the person’s injuries. Due to the collision and the subsequent investigation, the northbound lanes of Kennedy Road have been temporarily closed at Abilene Drive.
