Driving Instructor Arrested for Sexual Assault During Lesson in Mississauga
A 55-year-old man is now facing sex charges following an alleged assault on a girl during a driving lesson in Mississauga on Sunday, June 25.
The Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit conducted an investigation into the incident, which occurred in the vicinity of Tomken Rd. and Bloor St. According to their findings, the driving instructor is accused of sexually assaulting a young person under his instruction.
Earlier this week, law enforcement took Muhammad Irfan, a 55-year-old resident of Mississauga, into custody in connection with the case. He has been charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Following his arrest, Muhammad Irfan was released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in Brampton court in August, although the exact date has yet to be determined.
