ED also raided the house of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan
Money laundering case in Delhi Waqf Board
New Delhi/Bureau News
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has started action against another Aam Aadmi Party leader. On Tuesday morning, ED raided the house of Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan in Delhi. This action has been taken in a case related to money laundering. ED has taken this action on the basis of two FIRs filed by Delhi Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). These FIRs are related to irregularities in jobs in the Waqf Board.
It should be noted that Amanatullah Khan is the Chairman in the Waqf Board. Earlier on October 4, the ED raided the house of the party’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh for 10 hours, after which Sanjay Singh was arrested and Sanjay Singh is still in the custody of the ED. On the other hand, BJP workers have also demonstrated against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Delhi BJP President Birendra Sachdev said that as the links are getting connected, this chain is getting formed. It is also worth mentioning here that Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is also in jail in the case of money laundering.
