Education Minister Bains bitten by snake amid flood rescue op; Shares health update Chandigarh: Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Saturday informed that he was bitten by a venomous snake on August 15 and following that he had to be admitted to a hospital.
Harjot Singh Bains took to his X handle (Twitter) on Saturday and shared his two pics informing the people about the incident of a snake bite that he had to suffer during the rescue operation of the Punjab flood.
Bains stated that although he was bitten by a snake it did not deter his determination to help the people of Punjab. In the shared pictures, Bains’ foot can be seen swollen after the snake bite. Another pic shows he is studying some papers on the hospital bed. Below is what Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains shared on snake bite incident-
“With God’s grace, the flood situation in my constituency, Shri Anandpur Sahib, is better now. During the rescue operations, I was bitten by a venomous snake on the intervening night of 15th Aug, but that didn’t deter my determination to help my people. With God’s grace and people’s love & blessings, I’m alright now. The effect of the venom is receding and my blood tests have come out normal as well,” wrote Harjot Singh Bains.
