GTA: 2 arrested in Milton home shooting, 3 absconding

In relation to the shooting at a Milton home on Sunday that left one dead, two of the accused have been charged by the police while three others still remain at large, according to the Hamilton Police.

A group of individuals allegedly reached the residence in question with an intent to rob the place at 5:00 a.m., in a vehicle that police say is likely a Dodge Charge with a sunroof and black wheels. Upon entering the house they met with residents of the home on Gibson Crescent and consequently fired shots that left one dead, the Hamiltion Police detailed in a news releases Monday afternoon.

“Upon entering the residence, they were confronted by an occupant and a number of gunshots were fired,” the news release details.

One of the individuals charged is said to be a 22-year-old man from Milton who has since been charged withsecond degree murder, according to the police. The second person was identified as 20-year-old man from Oshawa by the police and has been charged with breaking and entering and possession of an unauthorized firearm, the news release stated, adding that both of the accused are set to appear in court on Tuesday.
