Prince Harry and Megan Markle have reportedly been struggling to fund their lifestyles after leaving the British Royal family, according to British biographer Tom Bower, who has been following events surrounding the pair.
Bower, the author of ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors’, claimed that 41-year-old Megan Markle was “surprised and disappointed” by the “very little money” that Prince Harry had back when they started dating, according to media reports.
“She had imagined he would be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and she is having to make up for it now,” stated Bower, adding that the ‘Suits’ actor “wants to ride in the big Cadillacs” and “take private jets on command.”
“They are now desperately gathering funds for this sort of spendings”, the British Biographer reportedly stated.
“At the moment she needs to scrounge for those sorts of things,” Bower added further.
It may be pertinent to note that since bidding adieu to their royal family member status in 2020, the couple has signed a US $100 million with Netflix as well as a US $30 million deal with Spotify.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly confirmed to media outlets that the couple had “been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage”, with media reports suggesting that the Duke and Duchess had only been given a few weeks time to vacate the premises of the royal cottage.
