Khalistan sympathizers start protests against the arrest of Amritpal Singh

In the UK, the Indian flag was taken down by the protestors, leading to a strong protest by the Indian government regarding the ongoing foreign activities.

Though it has not been cleared yet whether Bhai Amritpal Singh, leader of Waris Punjab De, has been arrested by police or not, Khalistan sympathizers living abroad in countries like Canada, USA, and Europe have come together to stage protests against the action of Punjab police in the last 24 hours.

On Sunday morning, a special meeting was organized at the Sikh Spiritual Center, Toronto, and several announcements were made regarding the ongoing arrests of members of Waris Punjab De.

Speakers one after another announce to stand in harmony with the Sikh Activist, Bhai Amritpal Singh, and his associates. It was decided to organize a number of protests in the coming days.
The major three protests taking place in Canada in the next week are :
1. A 24-hour sit-in protest outside the CGI office in Toronto on Bloor Street.
2. Major Protest outside CGI Office in Toronto on Monday, March 20th from 12 PM to 2 PM.
3. Protest in Ottawa on Thursday, March 23rd, again from 12 PM to 2 PM.
Ontario Gurudwaras Committee will also be providing bus services to the protestors to travel to Ottawa.

There are many protests taking place across the world as well, including in countries like the UK, Paris, and more. In the UK, the Indian flag was taken down by the protestors, leading to a strong protest by the Indian government regarding the ongoing foreign activities.

The foreign ministry summoned the UK’s seniormost diplomat in New Delhi late this evening, as Khalistan sympathizers protested the police crackdown on  Amritpal Singh at the Indian High Commission in London.
Local Indian government’s senior officials have told that they are keeping a vigil on all these activities and talking to Toronto Police about these developments.
