Largest Lululemon Facility Coming to Brampton Bringing 1,500 ‘Good-paying’ Jobs

Brampton will soon be home to the largest facility of a popular athletic wear brand bringing in 1,500 new jobs to the city. It will be a one million square foot building located at 5525 Countryside Dr. The regional councillor for Wards 9 and 10 has called this deal “another win” for the wards.

One of the most popular athletic wear brands, Lululemon, will be opening its biggest facility in the city of Brampton. It will be the largest facility in North America and will be located at 5525 Countryside Dr. in a one-million-square-foot building. It will be the largest office and distribution centre on the continent for the company. This facility will bring 1,500 new jobs to Brampton.

Gurtap Singh Toor, regional councillor for Wards 9 and 10 said, “These are going to be good-paying, high-skilled jobs. I can’t wait to see this building built and it all starts today. Brampton is booming and we’re so honoured to welcome Lululemon to our Brampton family.” He stated that the building will be a “home run” for the company and that the decision to set up this facility in Brampton shows confidence in the city.

Lululemon is a Canadian multinational athletic wear retailer headquartered in British Columbia and incorporated in Delaware, US. It started as a retailer for yoga wear in 1998 and has since expanded into athletic wear.
