Ludhiana court blast: NIA conducts raids in Gurdaspur, Muktsar; seizes Rs 10.16 lakhs

The National Investigation Agency on Friday carried out raids at two separate locations in Gurdaspur and Muktsar in relation to the Ludhiana court blast incident that took place on December 23, 2021 and ended up taking the life of one while injuring six others.
While the case pertaining to the bomb blast was initially registered with the Punjab Police on December 23, 2021, the NIA registered the case on January 13, 2022.
According to media reports, the NIA carried out the raids for about six hours, seizing Rs 10.16 lakhs in cash, mobile phones, SIM cards, and dairies with incriminating content.
The raids were reportedly conducted on the basis of the investigation of Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Malaysia, who was reportedly named as a key conspirator and arrested at the IGI Airport in Delhi on arrival from Malaysia in December of 2022.
