The King Charles III Coronation Medal, established to commemorate His Majesty’s coronation on May 6, 2023, serves to acknowledge individuals who have made remarkable contributions to Canada, whether nationally or within specific provinces, territories, regions, or communities. The medal also honors outstanding achievements abroad that bring credit to Canada.
Expressing his gratitude, Mayor Brown stated, “I am deeply humbled and honoured to receive the King Charles III’s Coronation Medal. This recognition reflects my unwavering dedication to public service and my commitment to the people of Brampton and Canada. Many thanks to MP Shafqat Ali for nominating me and to all the Members of Parliament for Brampton for their continued work on behalf of residents. It is a privilege to serve such a resilient and inspiring community and country.”
