Mississauga Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle
A pedestrian in Mississauga sustained severe injuries following a collision with a vehicle, underscoring the ongoing safety concerns for pedestrians.
An incident was reported in Mississauga on Sunday where a woman was hit by a vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
She got struck in the area of Hurontario Street and Bristol Road East, north of Square One in Mississauga, a Peel Regional Police spokesperson reports.
The emergency crews were reported at the scene at 9 pm on Sunday in Mississauga.
The vehicle remained at the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital by the Peel paramedics. The police said that she suffered serious injuries but not life threatening.
