On July 1st, 2024, the heart of Malton resonated with patriotic fervor as residents gathered at Westwood Square, 7205 Goreway Drive, to celebrate Canada Day. Organized by Deepak Anand, Member of Provincial Parliament for Malton-Mississauga, in collaboration with My Indians in Canada Association, the event was a vibrant tribute to Canadian unity and diversity.
The centerpiece of the celebration was a grand display of a massive Canadian flag, symbolizing the collective pride and love for the nation. The flag, waving majestically, was a powerful visual reminder of the country’s values of freedom, equality, and multiculturalism. Attendees, clad in red and white, basked in the festive atmosphere, expressing their patriotism and community spirit.
