Balasore,Odisha: At least 261 people died and over 900 were injured in a three-train collision in Balasore, Odisha on Friday evening, setting off a massive rescue and evacuation process. The train crash happened near the Bahanaga Baazar station in Balasore district, about 250 km south of Kolkata and 170 km north of Bhubaneswar, prompting the Railway Ministry to order a probe. Odisha.
PM Modi reached the accident site and reviewed the restoration work that is underway after the rescue and search operation was stopped. As many as 261 people died and over 900 were injured in a horrific three-train accident in Odisha’s Balasore.
PM Narendra Modi spoke to Cabinet Secretary and Health Minister from the site. He asked them to ensure all needed help is provided to the injured and their families. He also said that special care must be taken to ensure that the bereaved families don’t face inconvenience and that the affected keep getting the assistance they require.

Balasore Train Accident: People have queued up in Balasore in order to donate blood after the horrific incident yesterday. As per officials, as of now 233 people have died and around 900 are injured.
