Russian air defense systems allegedly destroyed 11 Ukrainian aerial vehicles during the course of one night. Two explosives were dropped on a sub-station by one of the drones.

On Friday, Russia claimed to have shot down 11 Ukrainian drones overnight; however, a regional governor alleged that one UAV dumped explosives on a substation, cutting off the community’s power supply.

Russia’s defense ministry posted on the messaging app Telegram that “eleven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty, one of them over the territory of Kaluga region and 10 over Kursk region.”
Roman Starovoyt, the governor of Kursk, claimed that Ukrainian UAVs had “massively attacked” the area bordering eastern Ukraine.

He claimed on Telegram that “a Ukrainian drone dropped two explosive devices on a substation” in the town of Belaya, which is only 16 miles (25 km) from the border.
