Peel Police Board Chair Ron Chatha Bids Adieu After Almost 5 Years of Service

Ron Chatha has played a vital role in the region, making a significant impact through his volunteer work and various roles.

Peel Police Board Chair Ron Chatha bid adieu to the service on Wednesday. Ron was appointed to the Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services Board in 2019 and has also served as the Board Chair for two years.

Having lived in Peel for a considerable period and served as a committed community leader, Ron Chatha has played a vital role in the region, making a significant impact through his volunteer work and various roles.

Sharing a picture from the farewell, he write, “Grateful to have had the opportunity to serve the residents of peel for nearly 5 years as I bid farewell to my colleagues at the Peel Police Board. I shift my focus to better support my family and grow my business. I wish continued success to the Board and every member of PRP.”

Ron has lately been quite vocal with his support for the bail reform. He has been seen calling out the government to bring in stricter rules for the repeate offenders, whilst demanding safety of the officers.
