Peel Police Seeks Public Assistance In A Hit-And-Run Case in Brampton
Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are investigating a serious injury Fail to Remain collision and are appealing to the public for assistance.
On Sunday, January 28, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the victim, a 20-year-old man, was in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Goreway Drive in the City of Brampton.
At that time, several vehicles and persons were in attendance at a car gathering. The victim was struck by a vehicle and rendered unconscious.
The suspect failed to render assistance and fled the area.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center, where he underwent surgery for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, may have dash camera footage or anyone with any information on the suspect to call investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3710.
