PM Modi does pooja at “Parvati Kund” while in Uttarakhand. New Delhi/ Beuro Modi dressed in a traditional tribal ensemble for the event, which included a turban and a “ranga” (upper body robe). On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelled to Uttarakhand. He started his all-day journey from the Adi Kailash peak, which is revered as Lord Shiva’s hallowed residence. Additionally, Modi conducted a pooja at “Parvati Kund.” He gave a speech at a public gathering while in the Kumaon region of the state, where he also lay the cornerstone for several development projects.
Modi dressed in a traditional tribal ensemble for the event, which included a turban and a “ranga” (upper body robe). He took part in the ‘aarti’ ceremony and blew a conch shell at the Shiva-Parvati temple at Jolingkong, which is situated next to the Parvati Kund.
Priests from the area named Virendra Kutiyal and Gopal Singh were with the prime minister. When he arrived at the top of Adi Kailash, Modi briefly meditated. The Prime Minister then took part in a pooja at Jageshwar Dham, made a ‘parikrama’ (circumambulation) around the Jyotirlinga, and meditated there. He then went back to Pithoragarh. The foundation stone for 4,200 crore worth of development projects was laid by Modi. Additionally, he spoke at an open forum held at the S. S. Waldia Sports Stadium.
