Second Arrest Made In Gurvinder Nath’s Murder Investigation

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau have arrested a second person in relation to a homicide investigation.

In July of 2023, the victim, Gurvinder Nath, a 24-year-old man from Brampton, was making a food delivery in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road, Mississauga. Upon arriving at the delivery address, the victim was confronted by unknown suspects who attempted to take his vehicle when a physical altercation occurred.

The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, leaving the victim at the side of the road with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

On Thursday, February 15, 2024, investigators executed a search warrant at a Brampton residence, locating the second accused party and a firearm. A 21-year-old Brampton man, Jazaine Kerrhas been charged with the following offences:

– Second Degree Murder

– Unauthorized possession of a firearm

– Careless storage of a firearm

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
