On December 14, York Regional Police officers made a crucial discovery as they observed four individuals engaging in suspicious activity at the rear entrance of the LCBO located on Yonge St and High Tech Rd. The men were reportedly involved in removing boxes from the LCBO premises and assembling cases of alcohol at the back of the store. Simultaneously, three other accomplices maintained a lookout within the store.

Following their covert operation, all four individuals exited through the store’s front entrance and proceeded to load waiting cases into a vehicle. The suspects then departed for a Mississauga parking lot, the specific location of which was not disclosed by the police.

Upon reaching the parking lot, the individuals commenced transferring the pilfered alcohol into a shipping container. York Regional Police officers, who had been monitoring the situation, intervened and successfully arrested the culprits.
