Suspects Apprehended in Brampton Home Invasion; Firearms Confiscated
The Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau arrested two suspects involved in Brampton home invasion followed by seizing the weapon.
Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau investigators have charged an individual following an armed home invasion incident that took place in Brampton.
According to reports, on November 25, 2023, four suspects forcefully entered a residence near Sandalwood Parkway and McLaughlin Road in Brampton. Once inside, they allegedly demanded money and property from the occupants.
During the invasion, a firearm was discharged by the suspects, resulting in one victim being struck with the weapon.
The suspects managed to escape the scene with stolen property, leaving one victim with minor injuries requiring medical attention.
Following an extensive investigation, authorities located and arrested a suspect at an address in Brampton. Subsequent search warrants led to the discovery and seizure of a 9mm firearm with ammunition, as well as a quantity of suspected illegal drugs.
21-year-old Kashaun Grenier of Brampton has been charged with several offenses, including robbery with a firearm, wearing a disguise, and multiple firearm-related charges. Grenier was reportedly bound by a weapons prohibition at the time of his arrest, stemming from previous firearms-related convictions.
Additionally, 26-year-old Brenna Nash, also from Brampton, has been charged with similar offenses following the execution of the search warrant.
Both suspects appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing.
Earlier on March 8, investigators had charged another suspect, Jessiah Farrell, in connection with the same home invasion incident.
