Tesla Expands Presence in Brampton with New Service Center and Proposed Supercharger Station

A recently closed car dealership in Brampton has made way for a new Tesla service center, located at 60 Coachworks Crescent near Mayfield Road and Hwy. 410. Although the Tesla service center’s address is not yet listed on the official Tesla website, people passing by the area have already noticed the company’s signage on the building.

The new service center is expected to offer various services, including vehicle repairs, while also serving as a sales and delivery center for Tesla, a prominent electric car manufacturer. This expansion into Brampton doesn’t stop there. Tesla has also expressed plans to construct the largest Supercharger station in Canada at Brampton’s Trinity Mall.

Proposed by Tesla, the ambitious project aims to create a 24-stall Supercharger station for electric vehicles at Trinity Mall, situated at the intersection of Bovaird Drive East and Hwy. 410. The development application filed with the City showcases plans for the Supercharger station in the parking lot west of the Rogers store. According to the blueprints, the charging station will be positioned along the outer edges of the parking area, without affecting the overall number of parking stalls.

The City has approved the site plan, and Tesla’s website indicates that the Supercharger station is expected to open in the second quarter of 2023, although the timing and location may be subject to change. This exciting development reflects Tesla’s commitment to expanding its presence and infrastructure to cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles in Brampton and the wider area.
