Three Indians Apprehended While Crossing The US – Canada Border Illegally
The US authorities captured four people, including three Indian nationals while crossing the U.S. Border illegally from Canada. The three men are undergoing processing for deportation.
The U.S. Authorities arrested four people, which included three Indian nationals and the fourth individual was identified as a man from the Dominican Republic. They were arrested on wednesday in Upstate New York near the Canadian border.
The U.S border Patrol officer caught them as they jumped off a moving freight train on the International Railroad Bridge in Buffalo. One of the Indian nationals is identified as a woman and was abandoned by the other men as they saw law enforcement approaching.
The investigation represents that the individuals were undocumented non-citizens. The injured woman faced few injuries and was given first aid from Erie County Sheriff’s deputies and US Customs and Border Protection officers. Now, she has been transferred to the nearby medical facility.
The other three are in the process of deportation and are detained at the Batavia Federal Detention Facility. They are charged with Section 212 and Section 237 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
