Three People Stabbed by School Student in Halifax
Three people were stabbed at a high school in the Bedford area in Halifax. The three victims were taken to a hospital but the extent of their injuries in unknown. The suspect, a student at the school, has been arrested.
The incident took place at Charles P. Allen High School in the Bedford area in Halifax. Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint at around 9:20 a.m. The police reported that three people had been stabbed at the school by a student of the school. The suspect was taken into custody 10 minutes later.
The three victims were taken to the hospital but the extent of their injuries is unclear. The school was locked down and closed for the remainder of the day. A search of the school has also been conducted and the police are working with school staff to safely release the students from the area.
The reason for the stabbing or the names of the victims have not been shared yet. More to come.
