Two Workers Taken to Hospital for Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in North York

Two workers have been taken to a hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. They are said to be in life-threatening condition but details about the gas leak are unclear. The incident took place at a home in Norwin Street, in the area of Hilda and Drewry avenues.

As per reports, Toronto police was called to a home on Norwin Street, Hilda, and Drewry avenues, at around 7:10 p.m. They found two male workers in life-threatening conditions and rushed them to a hospital. The Toronto Fire crews responded to reports of carbon monoxide poisoning at the North York home that was undergoing renovation.

The crew handed the two victims over to the care of paramedics, who transported them to the hospital.

It is unclear how the workers were poisoned by the gas and if there were detectors installed in the home or not. According to reports, the Ministry of Labour did not immediately return requests for information.
