As he disclosed why he chose Salman Khan for a role in a movie, Karan Johar praised the actor. He claimed to be superstitious and would discuss the movie at the appropriate moment.

Karan Johar hosted a special screening for fans on October 15 to honour the silver anniversary of his classic movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji also attended. Salman, who also made a brief cameo appearance in Karan’s debut movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, was brought up during an interview with Pinkvilla. A query about whether Karan and Salman are working together on a full-length movie for the first time was also addressed by Karan.

Karan Johar responded when asked if the cooperation would eventually take place, “The point is that I have to tell you that I have the highest regard for Salman and his entire family. Salim saab, the father and script writer of Salman Khan, and my father, Yash Johar, shared a strong relationship. And as I previously mentioned, Salman agreed to star in the movie (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) because he liked my father. That has never left my heart, either. All I can say at this time is that I hope that relationship will soon be depicted on film. I’m not confirming it, but I’m also not denying it. I have some superstitious beliefs. I suppose I should mention it,

When discussing Salman’s cameo as Aman in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan added, “A lot of stars had declined to play the part of Aman. Then, during Chunky Panday’s party, I ran across Salman. “Only an absolutely confident person will do this film, and I am that person,” he stated as he approached me. At the conclusion of the first half, he announced, “I am doing the film,” and I went to narrate it. He responded, “I don’t care, I know where it’s going,” when I said, “But you come in the second half.” I genuinely enjoy your father; I enjoy your enthusiasm and am working on your video. As I left, I thought, “Salman Khan is in the movie.” I
