Video Shows Man Roller Blading on Lincoln Alexander Parkway, Flipping Off Cops

A video has surfaced online showing a man roller blading on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway in Hamilton. He was being followed by two cop cars who were seemingly taking a cautious approach and the man was eventually taken off the road, but no charges have been filed.

Slow-moving traffic on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway was caused not by an accident or a traffic jam, but a man roller blading. A video shows a man wearing a black hoodie roller blading on the road with two cop cars following him. At one point in the video, the man can be seen turning around and flipping off the cops before continuing to skate forward.

One of the cop cars then tries to stop him but the man realizes and turns off the road, onto the grass patch, and cross to the other side of the road with traffic moving in the other direction.

The video was posted on Facebook by Tiffany Davies and she told described the incident to the media. “The two police officers came onto the highway and then traffic came to a halt. I see an arm waving and then see the man rollerbladed out into the highway and the cruisers almost crashed into each other while trying to get him,” said Davies.

Hamilton police told the media that officers were able to get the person “safely off the road” and that no charges were filed against him.
