‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh was rushed to the Fortis Hospital in Amritsar as his health deteriorated on Monday, media reports suggest.
While at a Maggi ceremony in Muktsar on Sunday, the ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief reportedly complained about feeling uneasy and experiencing discomfort. He was consequently taken to the hospital where doctors stated that his test came back fine, according to media reports.
According to media outlets, Singh has since been discharged as his health is said to be improving.
The 29-year-old is said to have returned from Dubai to Punjab last year and was soon after named the chief of ‘Waris Punjab De’, the organisation previously spearheaded by late actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu.
