What’s Open and Closed in Brampton and Mississauga on Civic Holiday August 7

The Civic Holiday in Brampton and Mississauga is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 7 this year, resulting in the closure of various places, businesses, and services on that day.

Government buildings and services will be unavailable, but several businesses will continue their operations on Aug. 7. Nonetheless, it is advisable to contact them beforehand or verify their status online to ensure they are open.

Open in Brampton:

• Brampton Shopper’s World is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Bramalea City Centre is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Most grocery stores (including Rabba grocery stores) are open, but call ahead to be sure

• Most bars and restaurants that are typically open on Mondays are open but call ahead to be sure
