B.C.: Edmonton man wanted nationwide for human trafficking arrested in Burnaby

After reportedly evading the police for over a year, an Edmonton man with a Canada-wide warrant for human trafficking was arrested by the police authorities in Burnaby, British Columbia.
The accused was arrested by the local RCMP on December 27, and since has been transferred back to Edmonton, according to an EPS news release Sunday.
The suspect, identified as Keyshawn McMillan, was accused of assaulting and confining forcibly a 19-year-old woman and coercing her into sex work. Based on incidents that occurred back in 2021, the arrested was charged with human trafficking, forcible confinement, aggravated assault, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
