Balmoral Multicultural Marketing marked a remarkable milestone by celebrating 35 years of pioneering leadership in multicultural marketing. The event, held at the Park Hyatt Toronto, honored the agency’s achievements under the visionary leadership of Sharifa Khan, its Founder and CEO. Over the decades, Khan has successfully connected Canada’s diverse ethnic communities with major brands and government organizations.

The celebration brought together over 250 distinguished guests, including notable figures such as the Honorable Marco Mendicino, Member of Parliament; Han Dong, Member of Parliament for Don Valley North; John Tory, former Mayor of Toronto; Mario Racco, Regional Councillor of Vaughan; and Michael Shiu, Councillor for the City of Richmond Hill. Congratulatory messages from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti added to the occasion’s significance. Vince Gasparro, Liberal candidate for Eglinton Lawrence, and Dr. Ming Tat Cheung, founding chair of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, were also among the dignitaries present.

Corporate executives from prominent organizations such as OLG, Sobeys, RBC, Canada Life, and Clorox joined mainstream agency partners and community leaders to celebrate the agency’s contributions to Canada’s dynamic multicultural landscape.

In her address, Sharifa Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support and recognition Balmoral has received over the years. “There is one word to describe how I feel tonight: Gratitude! I am grateful to our clients, many of whom are here tonight, for treating Balmoral as a valued partner and recognizing our passion for bridging Canada’s diverse communities,” Khan said. She emphasized the agency’s role in fostering engagement and understanding, which has been instrumental in its success.

Guests were treated to a luxurious four-course dinner and a vibrant lineup of multicultural performances. Highlights included Chinese face-changing art by Master Feihong, traditional Filipino dances performed by Folklorico Filipino Canada, South Asian dance routines by Taaj Entertainment, and an electrifying performance by the Weekeeeeee B band. The evening showcased the richness of multiculturalism and left attendees inspired.
