On Tuesday afternoon (July 18), a body was found in the vicinity of Oakville, near the border of Mississauga, prompting an investigation by the Halton Regional Police.

The body, believed to be that of a man, was located in a ravine adjacent to Clearview Creek, close to the intersection of Ford Dr. and Royal Windsor Dr.

Halton police media relations officer, Steve Elms, confirmed the discovery of the body by their officers on the mentioned date.
