Body Found Floating in Lake Ontario in Plastic Bag
A body has been spotted inside a plastic bag floating in Lake Ontario in Toronto. Someone in the area spotted the bag with what seemed to be a body sticking out of it. Toronto Police Marine Unit was able to retrieve the body but the identity of the victim is unknown.
Toronto Fire Services was called to Queens Quay Terminal, located at Queens Quay West and York Street, today morning just after 7 a.m. Someone in the area spotted a black bag floating in Lake Ontario with what seemed to be a body sticking out of it. Toronto Fire Services shared that the person in the bag showed obvious signs of being deceased.
TFS crews responded to Queens Quay W. (at foot of York ST) for reports of a body in the water. TFS Fireboat and TPS Marine unit arrived to investigate further. Body recovery underway by TPS Marine Unit. ^dv #Toronto
