Brampton man found dead in Lake Scugog
Durham Regional Police confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that the body of a 27-year-old man from from Brampton was recovered from Lake Scugog.
The police said that officers responded to a call for a water rescue around 8 p.m. on August 5, in the area of Fralicks Beach Road, west of Mississauga in Ontario.

Efforts to locate the victim were carried over the weekend, and his body was recovered Monday evening near Gilson’s Point in Lake Scugog.
The statement asked anyone with further information to contact the Durham Regional Police Service’s north division criminal investigation bureau.
