Police have pressed charges against a 43-year-old Brampton trucker for careless driving following an incident where he allegedly ran a vehicle off the road near Thunder Bay. The occurrence took place around 4:30 p.m. on Friday (July 28) when the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a concerning report about a commercial motor vehicle on Hwy 11 near Greenstone, situated approximately 275 kilometers northeast of Thunder Bay.

According to the complaint, the driver was reportedly “interfering with oncoming traffic” and forced a vehicle off the road, nearly causing a second vehicle to veer into the ditch. Swiftly responding to the report, officers located the truck and subsequently apprehended the accused.
