Child and Woman Pedestrians Hit in Brampton Car Crash

After being hit by a car in Brampton, a mother and a boy were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

After being hit by car in Brampton, 

mother and boy were taken by 

ambulance to the hospital. 

According to Peel Regional Police, 

the collision occurred on Monday, 

January 23, at about 1:40 pm near 

Malta Avenue and Ray Lawson 

Boulevard. 

Two cars collided, and according to 

the police, one of them ran over two 

pedestrians who were standing on

Police report that woman received 

significant injuries while being 

transported to nearby hospital 

with boy, who was conscious 

and breathing. 

According to authorities, the drivers of 

both vehicles also received minor 

injuries in the collision.

While authorities are on the scene to investigate the collision, police have closed the junction of Ray Lawson Blvd. and Malta Ave. Drivers are urged to stay away from the area and, if feasible, take alternate routes.
